This aircraft was allocated to FEAF 17th July 1958 and taken on charge by 205 Squadron at Changi on 29^th September 1958.  It was coded E.  This aircraft overshot a landing at Gan on 11th January 1960 after a propeller rack bolt failure.  It was repaired on site at Gan and returned to the UK for wing-spar remedial work.  It was redelivered to 205 Squadron on 28th December 1960 and remained with the unit until replaced by a Mark2 aircraft.  It was ferried to the UK and arrived on 24th April 1962 for open storage as NEA. (Non Effective Aircraft). It was eventually sold as scrap on 5th August 1964.
